CKC Board
Meetings
The Board of Directors of the Canadian Kennel Club
meets quarterly. Minutes from the previous meeting are
approved at each of these meetings. Therefore, minutes in
Dogs In Canada are three months later than the meeting itself.
In the intervening months, I will attempt to give a basic overview
of the quarter, offering those highlights that I feel will be of
particular interest to this zone. These comments will not be
and should not be construed to be Minutes.
The Agenda for each meeting is compiled
approximately six weeks before the meeting date. For
example, the closing date for additions to the December meeting
Agenda is late October. Should you wish to discuss a motion
to be put on an Agenda, please
contact me in writing at least two weeks in advance of the cut
off so that we can discuss your concern.

In an effort to provide more information and better
communication to CKC members, effective October 17th 2005 the
approved minutes of CKC Board meetings are now available on the
web. As minutes are approved and translated they will now appear
on the website, usually within 6 weeks of the minutes being
approved. Members can access the minutes by logging in and going
