Shecara Bassets is a Basset Hound breeder dedicated to the improvement of the breed. Our goal is to breed the highest-quality Basset Hound Puppies from the finest bloodlines around the world in order to produce outstanding companions for families like yours. To achieve this goal, we researched various bloodlines and visited several European breeders to find the best bloodlines with the finest temperaments and show qualities. We continue to research bloodlines and import European Basset Hounds from the best lines, so that our breeding stock is constantly being improved upon. We are very particular in the dogs that we purchase and employ in our breeding program.
Our European Import Basset Hounds are much sought after in North America for their distinctive type: long droopy ears, loose, supple skin with lots of wrinkle, solid bone construction with huge paws, very low to the ground, as well as their very placid, peaceful temperaments.
