Born here at Shalyn on September 15, 2004, Zoe is the result of a carefully planned line-breeding of our Franklin and Maggie. This pedigree is rather rare and quite distinguished. We could not feel more privileged to have Zoe as the foundation of Shalyn French Bulldogs. From the day she was born we knew she would stay here with us. Zoe is a blessing in our lives and is the type of bitch we want as a "blueprint" for the start of our program. 

It is our feeling that Zoe's pedigree is a combination of some of the world's finest and most famous French Bulldogs in the history of the breed. More European in type, her pedigree is personified by this and she certainly has the classic European headpiece. She is extremely sound and possesses a great deal of elegance and style, which we feel is paramount in a bitch. She is also very sweet tempered with just the right touch of mischief that the breed is known and loved for.

Zoe made quite an entrance to the show scene. In her debut performance, she stepped into the ring at 6 months and 2 weeks of age and took a Best Puppy In Show!! She went on to finish her Championship in 3 weekends as a Junior puppy with several group placements, and always Breeder, Owner-Handled by Shannon.

Zoe's first litter was born on June 14, 2006 out of MBIS BISS MBPIS BPISS CH. Monet' Brass Knuckles "Potter". She had five baby Froglets and we kept the brindle boy "LINCOLN" here at Shalyn. You can read all about him on his own page.

As of April 2008 our Zoe has traveled to the US on three occasions to try for her American Championship. As usual she did us proud! Our little Zoe has 13 points toward her American Championship including both of her Majors!

Our plans for Zoe as of Spring 2008 are another trip stateside to try and achieve the final 2 single points toward her American Championship. After that, if all goes according to plan we hope to have the pitter-patter of baby froggies here at Shalyn sometime in late 2008 early 2009.
