What can we say about our
Franklin?
Franklin
is the love of our lives and sleeps under the covers in our bed
each night. He is our first French Bulldog and the main reason
we fell so head over heels in love with this breed.
He has accomplished more than I
could have ever hoped and dreamed for and what a thrilling ride
it has been.
With me at the end of the
lead, my first "real" show dog , Franklin finished his
Championship in fine style with all group placements. His last
points were obtained over Specials with a Group 2nd from the
classes under Ms. Michelle Billings.
We decided to play a bit
with the big boys in 2002 and 2003, achieving Multiple Group
wins, placements and two Best In Shows two Saturday's in a row.
In 2003, with very limited showing (about 10 weekends), Franklin
finished # 1 Canadian Bred French Bulldog, # 2 Owner Handled
French Bulldog and # 3 Overall French Bulldog. To top it
all off, Franklin's retirement show was the prestigious Show of
Shows in Ottawa, Ontario where he placed 4th in the Non-Sporting
Group.
Franklin is a top of the standard boy who's illustrious pedigree
speaks for itself. He is a grandson of the famous Omar Sharif
De La Parure.
