About Us We are Dean and Jennifer Tomes. We both are devoted to this wonderful breed and find great joy in sharing our lives, and our home, with our Manchester Terriers. Our kennel, Mersey Reg'd, is a small, hobby kennel located in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada, that is devoted to producing quality standard Manchester Terriers. We breed for the betterment of the breed. This means we focus on conformation, temperament, and health issues. Our aim is to always produce the best Manchester Terriers possible. We are actively involved in conformation activities with our dogs, so one of our goals is to produce lovely looking Manchester Terriers. But our Manchesters are also our pets and therefore we have the goal of producing Manchesters that are stable, intelligent, healthy members of the family. We are extremely proud of the success we have had with our Manchester Terriers thus far. We are not a large kennel and so have only a limited number of litters each year. None-the-less, we have thus far produced dogs that have won Best In Show, Best In Specialty Show, Best Bred By Exhibitor In Show, Best Puppy In Show, as well as many group placing and group winning Manchester Terriers. But even more importantly, our Manchesters have gone on to become loving members of their new families. We enjoy nothing more than to hear how well our puppies are doing in their new homes. All our dogs are properly health tested before they are bred to ensure that we produce only healthy Manchester puppies. And all puppies are home raised to ensure they have the absolute best start in life we can give them. We feel a large responsibility for the all the dogs we produce. Our relationship with our puppies and new puppy owners does not end when the dog leaves our kennels. We are always available to offer support, encouragement or advice if needed. We strongly believe that we have a responsibility to that puppy for it's entire lifetime.
