"Gunny"
To
say we have been pleased with Gunnyís show career would indeed be an
understatement. We were extremely proud and pleased when Gunny was awarded her
first Best In Show in 2004. This is an amasing accomplishment for a young
Manchester Terrier bitch and we were especially pleased that it was a
breeder/owner handled win. Special thanks to judge Michael Hill for seeing the
quality of this bitch. What made the win even more special was that
Gunny got her BIS at the same show as her mother did 2 years earlier!
Gunny
was awarded Best of Variety at the prestigious Westminister Kennel Club in
2005. This was only her second trip into the US (she earned her American
championship on the first trip). Special thanks to Amanda Kelly for showing
Gunny for us at the Garden.
We
are also extremely pleased to report that Gunny won Best of Breed at the first
Canadian Manchester Terrier Club National Specialty held in Saint John, NB on
August 20, 2004. Many thanks to judge Cheryl Meyers Egerton for rewarding our
special girl with this honour. Again, thanks to our good friend Amanda Kelly
for doing such a great job presenting Gunny for us.
Gunny
is a very special dog to us, not only because of her performance in the show
ring, but also because she is such a wonderful dog to live with. Gunny has had
her most recent successes in the whelping
box. We are thrilled with the pups from her first litter and how they
have followed in their momís impressive footsteps.

is Gunny at 6 months. She's a stunning young dog from Acey's first litter. Line bred back to some great
Manchester Terriers, we expected grand things from her and she has not
disappointed us. A lovely headpiece, a beautiful hard coat, great structure,
fabulous movement, and an outstanding temperament are just a few of her many
qualities.
