Judges Critique – Rhonda Hovan:  BPISS/JAM winner - Another dog that captured my attention immediately, she was elegant and effortless on the go-around.  Guided expertly but gently by her young handler, they made a wonderful team.  With a lovely head, beautiful length of neck, smooth outline, and short hock, she pressed the BOS bitch, and with a little more maturity, she will be a force to be watched.

Critique on Hannah by Ed & Pat Gilbert:

She has an excellent head and based on my 3 criteria in judging labs she passes with flying colours!  She has an excellent flowing line from the top of the head to the tip of the tail with a medium length and powerful neck, good width and depth to the chest, proper length of the rib cage with ribs well sprung.  Nice supple muscle tone with outstanding temperament.  The coat is short, very dense with a fairly hard feeling to the hand and an otter tail was evident.  The front and rear angulation is balanced and the first and second thighs are well developed and indicates great power for use in the field and for swimming.  In fact this thigh muscle development is outstanding!!  The down and back and side gait was excellent. It was a breed specific gait and met the Standard - it was not generic show dog gait.

We are definitely Madabout Hannah.  She is the wonderful result of our very first breeding.  Much like her dad (and grandmother Chelsea) in looks and temperament (yes, she's gotten that little stubborn streak that drives Henry crazy!!) she has the fun loving attitude of both of her parents.  It’s been a  pleasure to watch her interact with both her parents as well as the rest of the Madabout clan.  She is growing into a confident, beautiful girl and we are ever so proud!

Hannah is a big tease like her parents, tormenting the other dogs but can also run hard and fast with the other girls.  She has a lovely head, great length of neck and moves effortlessly around the ring.  She is a wonderful girl and loves to snuggle up with you at night.  We have had several great comments from breeders in the area as she is maturing into a lovely young lady.  Hannah has great retrieving instinct and we are working with her in the field.
