Training programs are available to provide you with the best hunting retriever companion possible.  Training is available for water fowlers and  upland hunters. 

• Basics - Common to all retriever training programs. Will provide a retriever with the skills to be obedient, retrieve marked game on land or water.
• Intermediate - Suitable to provide a retriever with the skills to retrieve marked game on land or water as well as running basic blind retrieves on land or water, upland quartering and flushing
• Advanced - Suitable to provide a Finished gun dog capable of completing multiple marked retrieves of game on land or water, complex blind retrieves on land or water, upland trailing of cripples

The time required to advance through the various stages of training varies greatly between individual retrievers.  Generally,  at the mid way point in the the Basics stage sufficient information will be available to provide an overall assessment of how much effort will be required and the rate of progress you can expect in future training.
